- Gary Price Added April 04, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★Royal hotel boasts a popular stopover with pretty level sites on gravel pads. Toilets and showers. All free compliments of the publican. All that is asked is to buy a few drinks or perhaps a meal. Which are excellent. We stayed a few days doing stuff. No questions asked. Many of those travellers I spoke with make this a regular stop. I can see why. Totally recommend
- Tim Scott Added April 01, 2022★ ★ ★ ★ ★We were welcomed by the hosts right on closing after calling 10 mins prior. Found a site in the Showgrounds as pictured, and couldn’t have been happier. Plenty of space, great facilities and a very obvious attention to detail in the care of the whole site. We really felt at home. It just clicked. Great stopover or a base from which to explore the region and a bargain at $16 for a powered plot. Make a beeline for this gem. Thank you.

Such old world, simple charm. We chose a site that we could wake up to the neighbouring cows and we were not disappointed.
Friendly caretakers who were more than happy to share local info and we felt "at home" immediately with our old beloved bus and dogs on board (and happy that all dogs are to be secured onsite)
Zero pretentiousness and a natural good vibe that can't be bought.
